Sitsirya - local slang word for snacks or junkfood, usually refers to potato chips in general.

Chipsilog was born out of the two main foods that a lot of Filipinos, especially students, eat. Namely potato chips and "-silog" meals. "-Silog" meals come in a variety of choices. The name comes from the components of the dish itself. The most famous one being "Tapsilog" which consists of tapa (marinated beef) + sinangag (garlic fried rice) + itlog (fried egg).

The main challenge for this was the feat of coming up with a product that didn't exist but still being a feasible product for young Filipino consumers.

I thought, "why not both?", and it turned out to be a fun concept that I wish I could taste in real life.
